Things to Do
Eagle’s Nest Clubhouse
A great place to meet with neighbors, families, and friends. The Clubhouse includes an outdoor pavilion, BBQ grills, tables, and a comfortable meeting room. Residents may reserve this facility by contacting XXX.
Tee Time
Elk Haven borders The Raven Golf Club at Three Peaks. Grab a bite and a drink at the clubhouse, then hit the links. Click here to book your tee time! They can also be reached at 970-262-3636.
Nordic Skiing/Snow shoeing
During the winter, The Raven Golf Club converts to Silverthorne’s Nordic Ski Center on the front and back nines. Tentative dates run from December 15th to March 15th. Equipment is not available for rent at Raven Golf Club; skiers and snow-shoers must provide their own. For more information click here.
Other local facilities with rentals include Frisco Adventure Park and the Breckenridge Nordic Center. Snow tubing is also available at the Frisco Adventure Park.
Skiing
We are in the middle of Colorado’s ski Mecca, with many resorts nearby. Ski and snowboard rentals are available at many local retailers. Click here for the Epic Pass.

Hiking
Several hiking trails are in the area, so a great resource is the AllTrails app. This link will take you to the Eagle’s Nest Summit Loop, and you can find additional information on that page for other trails. Remember to share your itinerary with family, friends, or neighbors, just in case.
Recreation Center
The Silverthorne Recreation Center is available to residents and visitors. Fitness classes, yoga, a pool, showers, and work-out rooms round out the amenities. During the summer, affordable outdoor boot camps meet at Summit Sky Ranch. Day passes are available, or other memberships require proof of residency.
Cycling
Several of our neighbors are cyclists, so grab your bike and go for a ride! To access the paved trails system, (carefully) cross Blue River Parkway, and you’ll find the path next to the water treatment plant. This trail will take you to the dam, around the lake, and all the way to Breckenridge if you’d like. Another fun thing for your guests is to have them rent bikes from a local operator that will take them up Vail Pass…it’s all downhill from there. Here’s a link to one of them.
Summer Lake Activities
We have two marinas on Lake Dillon: the Dillon Marina and Frisco Marina. There is a sailing school and yacht club at the Dillon Marina, and kayak/SUP (stand up paddle board) rentals are available at both. Looking for a place to get a drink? There’s a tiki bar/restaurant at the Dillon Marina, and a restaurant/bar at the Frisco Marina. Lake Dillon is one of the most challenging sailing lakes in North America!
